Information will be collected in association with an individual’s use of the buildtik digital platform, an enquiry about buildtik or generally dealing with us. In particular, information is likely to be collected during the registration for a subscription process. When an individual registers or subscribes for a service, account, connection or other process whereby they enter Personal Information details in order to receive or access something, including a transaction;

This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including meetings, trade shows, general correspondence, social media, by telephone, pixel tags,  by email, via our website www.buildtik.au, from your website, business investment enquiries or partnerships, from media and publications, from other publicly available sources, and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

The buildtik website may contain links to websites operated by third parties. Those links are provided for convenience and may not remain current or be maintained. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of, or any content on, those linked websites, and have no control over or rights in those linked websites. The privacy policies that apply to those other websites may differ substantially from our Privacy Policy and we encourage you to read them before using those websites.

Where we obtain Personal Information without an individual’s knowledge (such as by accidental acquisition from a user), we will either delete/destroy the information, or inform the individual that we hold such information, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.

buildtik will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.
